The Role

Reporting to the Group Treasury Manager, the Treasury Assistant will support a range of treasury activities, including payment processing, cash management, reporting and financial administration across UK and European entities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their Finance career looking to gain valuable experience within a large, international organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support payment processing across UK and European entities.
  • Assist with the movement of funds between entities to ensure appropriate liquidity levels are maintained.
  • Maintain cash books and process journals accurately and efficiently.
  • Process financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Liaise with Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger teams to investigate and resolve queries.
  • Support the management of the team's shared inbox, including prioritising requests and responding to queries.
  • Assist with ad-hoc treasury administration and requests as required.
  • Support relevant SOx requirements and ensure appropriate controls are followed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, automate activities and simplify ways of working.
About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will have a strong focus on accuracy and be confident managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience in a finance, treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable or similar environment.
  • Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to work effectively to deadlines, particularly where payment cut-off times apply.
  • Good communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with colleagues across different finance functions.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Good Excel and general IT skills.
  • An interest in improving processes and finding more efficient ways of working.
Why Join?

This is a great opportunity to join a large, international and rapidly growing organisation, where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of treasury activities and work as part of an experienced and supportive team.
