Operational Risk Analyst - Regulatory Reporting - Contract Opportunity | £37 per Hour | Contract Until August 2027
Are you an experienced Risk, Operations, Compliance, or Regulatory Reporting professional looking for your next contract opportunity within a global financial services environment? We are recruiting for an Operational Risk Analyst to join a busy Regulatory Operations team responsible for the oversight and delivery of critical regulatory reporting activities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regulated environment where you'll play a key role in reporting compliance, risk management, and process improvement initiatives.
The OpportunityWorking within the Primary Dealer Reporting team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of regulatory reporting obligations, investigating reporting issues, and helping to maintain a strong controls environment. You'll work closely with Operations, Technology, and key business stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the delivery of regulatory reporting activities.
• Investigate and resolve reporting exceptions and data quality issues.
• Monitor reporting accuracy, completeness, and control effectiveness.
• Identify and escalate reporting risks where appropriate.
• Partner with Operations, Technology, and business stakeholders.
• Support governance, controls, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to a robust regulatory and operational risk framework.

What We're Looking For

• Experience within financial services or another regulated environment.
• Background in Operational Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Financial Crime, AML/KYC, Compliance, Operations, Risk & Controls, Governance, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Experience investigating issues and driving resolutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
