Male Support Workers Required – PenzanceSpecialist 2:1 Support Package | Long-Term Opportunities

Educare Recruitment Ltd is recruiting experienced and dedicated Male Support Workers to join a specialist 2:1 support package supporting a gentleman in Penzance.

This is an excellent opportunity for confident, compassionate and skilled support workers looking for long-term, consistent hours within a rewarding support environment.

We are looking for individuals who have the right experience, training and attitude to provide high-quality, person-centred support.

Essential Training & Experience

Applicants must have the following training and experience:

• PBM (Positive Behaviour Management)
• Epilepsy Awareness / Management Training
• Stroke Awareness Training
• Medication Administration Training

Previous experience supporting individuals with complex care and support needs is highly desirable.

The Role

You will work as part of a 2:1 support team, providing dedicated support to a gentleman in his own environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing person-centred support and promoting independence
• Supporting daily routines and activities
• Monitoring and responding appropriately to health and wellbeing needs
• Supporting epilepsy management in line with individual protocols
• Safe medication administration
• Following agreed behaviour support plans and PBM guidance
• Maintaining dignity, respect and choice at all times
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent support
