Position: One-to-One Outreach and Learning Support Tutor
Location: Bexley
Hours: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications
Contract: Flexible, ongoing placements

Help Students Re-engage With Education

Remedy Tutors is recruiting adaptable tutors to provide one-to-one educational support to children and young people with SEN and additional needs.

You may support students who find mainstream education challenging because of autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, communication difficulties or other barriers to learning. You will tailor your teaching to each student's needs, helping them feel supported while making progress academically.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging tuition in both Maths and English.

• Adapt lessons to individual needs, abilities and learning goals.

• Break tasks down and provide additional explanation where needed.

• Encourage participation, confidence and positive learning routines.

• Support students to develop core skills and independence.

• Monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies.

What We're Looking For

• Confident teaching skills in Maths and English.

• SEN/SEND or SEMH experience is desirable.

• Patient, calm and flexible approach.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
