Welding Inspector / NDT Technician I'm currently recruiting for a Welding Inspector / NDT Technician to join a leading manufacturing business supporting critical UK defence programmes. This is a hands-on position working within a fabrication and machining environment, undertaking welding inspection, visual examination and NDT activities across complex engineered components. Key Responsibilities * Conduct visual weld inspection activities * Perform MPI and DPI examinations * Review welding documentation including WPSs and WPQRs * Support welding quality investigations and NCR activities * Produce inspection reports and quality documentation * Liaise with production, welding and quality teams * Ensure compliance with customer and industry standards What We're Looking For * CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector * PCN Level 2 MPI (MT) * PCN Level 2 DPI (PT) * Experience within fabrication, welding or heavy engineering environments * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and welding documentation * Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection requirements Desirable * PCN Level 2 UT * Supplier quality or auditing experience * Defence, nuclear, marine or heavy engineering sector experience This is an excellent opportunity for a CSWIP-qualified Welding Inspector or NDT Technician looking to join a stable manufacturing business supporting long-term defence programmes.
