Joiner Social Housing Blackburn, Halifax, Colne & Nelson areas £22 per hour CIS Start Date: 2nd November Duration: Ongoing Temporary Contract Experienced Joiner Required – Social Housing Bamford Contract Services is recruiting an experienced Joiner to work on ongoing social housing maintenance projects across Blackburn, Halifax, Colne and Nelson. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, skilled tradesperson with experience working in tenanted properties. The role involves general joinery repairs, loft hatch modifications, door adjustments, mould removal and minor painting touch-ups. Joiner Key Responsibilities Fitting and modifying loft hatches, including enlarging existing openings Boxing in pipework and carrying out general joinery repairs Undercutting doors and making adjustments where required Installing trickle vents Cleaning and removing mould from affected areas Carrying out patch painting and minor decorating touch-ups Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment Delivering a professional service to tenants and completing work to a high standard Joiner Requirements Time-served Joiner with proven maintenance experience Previous experience working in social housing or occupied properties Competent in general joinery repairs and minor decorating work Own tools and reliable vehicle Full UK driving licence, preferably with no more than 3 points Ability to work independently, manage workloads and communicate professionally with tenants What We Offer for a Joiner £22 per hour CIS Immediate start available Ongoing temporary work with potential for further projects Mileage allowance provided Potential work vehicle available in the future Apply Today for this Joiner role If you're an experienced Joiner looking for ongoing social housing maintenance work and have the skills to carry out both joinery repairs and minor mould removal and painting, we'd like to hear from you.
