An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join an established organisation in Southampton.This is a senior ER-focused position suited to an experienced HR professional who is confident in managing complex and high-risk employee relations matters, providing employment law guidance and partnering with managers and senior stakeholders across the business.You will act as a subject-matter expert for Employee Relations, ensuring cases are managed fairly, consistently and in line with UK employment legislation and internal policies.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Significant experience in an Employee relation, HR Advisory, HR Business Partner or senior HR role with substantial ER responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations best practice.
• Experience independently managing complex and sensitive ER cases.
• Confidence advising and influencing senior managers and stakeholders.
• Strong investigation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience operating within a fast-paced or complex organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A pragmatic and commercially aware approach to Employee Relations.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
