Stores Assistant

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time (2–3 months)

Location: Batley, WF1

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are recruiting for a Stores Assistant to join a busy and friendly team within a food manufacturing environment. This temporary opportunity is ideal for someone looking for work over the next few months, with an immediate start available. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. This Stores Assistant position would suit someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, and keen to learn.

Day-to-day of the role

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
• Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries
• Organising stock, materials, and storage areas
• Assisting with regular stock counts and inventory checks
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and well organised
• Supporting the wider team with general day-to-day warehouse tasks
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Helping to ensure goods are handled carefully within the food manufacturing setting
