Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Civils Supervisor on a 9 Month Contract, located in Kent. Responsibilities * Supervise day-to-day civils activities on site, including groundworks, foundations, drainage, ducting, cable routes and concrete works * Direct and coordinate gangs, operatives and subcontractors to meet programme and quality requirements * Brief teams on method statements, risk assessments and permits to work, and make sure they are followed * Check works against drawings and specifications, and raise any issues or clashes promptly * Carry out and record inspections, including quality checks, hold points and sign-offs * Promote and enforce site health, safety and environmental standards, and lead by example * Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries and progress reports * Liaise with the site manager, engineers, the client and other contractors Requirements * Previous civils supervisory experience on converter stations * Valid CSCS card * SSSTS or SMSTS (valid and in date) * Right to work in the UK * Ability to read and work from civils drawings and specifications * Experience on HVDC or other major energy, substation or utilities projects * First aid at work certificate * Temporary works awareness * CPCS, NPORS or other plant qualifications * Experience with groundworks and concrete works for heavy electrical infrastructure * Full UK driving licence Our Company Rubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first time
