Location: Edinburgh Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, plus alternate Saturdays, 8:00am–12:00pm
We are recruiting on behalf of a third-party client for an experienced and commercially minded Hire Manager to lead their Edinburgh branch.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven individual with strong leadership skills and a customer-focused approach to manage a busy tool and equipment hire operation.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales performance and achieve branch targets.
Lead, motivate and develop a team of three.
Deliver excellent customer service and identify opportunities to increase sales.
Manage stock levels and ensure equipment is safe, maintained and ready for hire.
Build strong customer relationships and support business growth.
Work closely with the wider branch team to maximise sales opportunities.
Previous Experience:
Experience in tool hire, plant hire, sales or customer service.
Previous team leadership or management experience is advantageous.
Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to sales.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A strong focus on health and safety, teamwork and operational standards.
