Night Concierge - Luxury Residential Development

Location: Fitzrovia, Central London (W1)
Salary: £34,500 per annum
Hours: Thursday-Sunday nights

• Thursday-Friday: 7:00pm-8:00am

• Saturday-Sunday: 8:00pm-8:00am

The Opportunity

We're recruiting a Night Concierge for a luxury residential development in Fitzrovia, Central London.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering excellent resident service while helping to maintain a safe, secure and well-presented building overnight.

Alongside traditional concierge and security responsibilities, the role includes practical building duties, particularly rubbish collection as required throughout the shift. Candidates should be comfortable with a position that combines front-of-house service with regular physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and visitors, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service.

• Monitor building access and help maintain the security of the development.

• Screen visitors, contractors and service personnel, and manage access appropriately.

• Handle deliveries, parcels and keys in line with site procedures.

• Collect rubbish during the night intervals as required, depending on demand.

• Check that the reception area, forecourt and communal areas remain clean, tidy and presentable.

• Carry out regular building patrols and check plant room equipment at least twice during each shift.

• Maintain accurate handover notes, logbooks and incident records.

• Liaise with residents, contractors and service providers, escalating issues where necessary.

• Support contractor access and ensure the required documentation is in place.

• Follow site procedures relating to fire safety, health and safety and emergency response.

• Assist residents with luggage and other reasonable building-related duties as required.

About You

• Previous concierge, residential front-of-house or similar customer-facing experience would be beneficial.

• Professional, approachable and confident when dealing with residents, visitors and contractors.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• A strong awareness of security, health and safety, and fire procedures.

• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently overnight.

• Comfortable undertaking hands-on duties, including rubbish collection and other practical building tasks.

• Able to maintain a smart, professional appearance and high standards of service throughout the shift.

Please note: This is not a purely front-of-house position. The successful candidate must be comfortable balancing concierge and security responsibilities with practical duties, including rubbish collection, which will vary depending on the needs of the building.
