People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering an increased peak pay rate of £14.04 per hour until 31 December 2026, with overtime paid at £17.55 per hour during the peak period. Standard rates of £13.51 per hour and £16.89 overtime will apply from 1 January 2027.

The role also offers Monday-to-Friday working, no weekends, weekly pay, ongoing full-time work and immediate starts available.

Join a busy warehouse operation within the Goods In department, where you'll be part of a hands-on team unloading deliveries, handling stock and keeping the warehouse running smoothly.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Goods In Operative, Container Unloader, Warehouse Assistant, Order Picker or General Warehouse Operative.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm
• No weekend working
• Full-time hours

Rates of Pay

Peak Rates – Until 31 December 2026

• Basic pay: £14.04 per hour
• Overtime: £17.55 per hour after 37.5 hours

Standard Rates – From 1 January 2027 (Out of Peak)

• Basic pay: £13.51 per hour
• Overtime: £16.89 per hour after 37.5 hours
• Weekly pay throughout your assignment

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Working within a busy Goods In department
• Unloading containers and delivery vehicles
• Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting duties, including two-person lifts where required
• Receiving, checking and booking in stock accurately
• Palletising, wrapping and banding pallets
• Moving, storing and organising warehouse stock
• Ensuring products are handled and stored safely
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Following all site health and safety procedures

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to carry out physically demanding warehouse duties
• Availability to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts
• Basic spoken and written English
• Good attention to detail
• Reliability and good timekeeping
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently when required
• A positive and proactive attitude
