This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate to join the Depositary team at Analyst level working for a specialist investment services firm supporting alternative investment funds. The role offers broad exposure to depositary oversight, fund operations, regulatory reporting and client-facing activities across private equity, real estate and infrastructure strategies

Description

• Support the delivery of depositary services across a portfolio of alternative investment funds.
• Assist with quarterly depositary reporting and client information requests.
• Participate in client meetings and help coordinate new client onboarding.
• Carry out key event reviews including subscriptions, drawdowns, acquisitions, disposals and distributions.
• Perform cash flow monitoring, account reconciliations and control testing.
• Verify ownership and existence of fund assets and maintain asset records.
• Monitor fund activity to ensure compliance with governing documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Support team projects, issue escalation and ongoing operational activities.

Profile

• Graduate with 2.1 or 1st class degree (essential) - ideally Finance, Economics, Maths or similar
• Internship / Placement / Work experience within financial services, funds, private equity, real estate or a related environment.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of fund structures, investment agreements and accounting principles would be advantageous.
• Commitment to pursuing relevant professional qualifications such as the IMC or CAIA.
