Elite CLS LTD is a recruitment agency. We are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver / Furniture Assembler to join our team. The role involves delivering furniture to customers and safely assembling and installing items at their premises. NEWLY PASSED ACCEPTED!!!!!! Key Responsibilities: * Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and responsibly. * Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects. * Deliver furniture and other goods to customers' homes and commercial premises. * Load and unload furniture safely, working as part of a team where required. * Assemble a range of furniture including beds, wardrobes, tables, sofas and other household items. * Install and position furniture according to customer requirements. * Ensure furniture is handled carefully to prevent damage during transportation and installation. * Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times. * Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures where required. * Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle and work area. * Follow all relevant health and safety, manual handling and company procedures. Requirements: * Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. * Driver CPC and digital tachograph card. * Experience assembling or installing furniture is desirable. * Good knowledge of safe manual handling practices. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Reliable, punctual and professional approach. * Physically fit, as the role involves lifting and moving furniture. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working Conditions: The role involves regular driving, loading and unloading, lifting furniture and assembling items at customer locations. Some flexibility may be required depending on delivery schedules
