Job Description We are currently on the look out for a Buyer to join our Purchasing Team, within the role you will be rresponsible for non-metal sourcing and procurement for the business. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost effectiveness and maintaining positive vendor relationships. Key responsibilities * Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality and reliability * Negotiate favourable contracts, terms and prices with suppliers * Manage the full procurement process from end to end * Take full ownership leading contracts and categories you are assigned * Manage contracts efficiently and strategically – lead commercial discussions, contract processes, and conduct regular reviews * Proactively build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal performance Key skills * Strong proven experience as a Buyer with the ability to negotiate * Strong negotiation and communication skills * Experienced with ERP systems * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Experienced with supplier management and relationship building * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines * Strong commercial knowledge and contract management * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Let’s shape the future of British manufacturing together!
