Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for consistent work, early finishes, and excellent hourly rates?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Knutsford for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to join their growing team.

What's on Offer?

• £17.51 per hour based on a 40-hour contract
• Average working week of approximately 34 hours, equating to an effective hourly rate of around £20.60 per hour
• Early starts between 5:30am and 6:00am
• Typical finish around 1:00pm or earlier
• Day shifts only
• Additional payment for any overnight stays
• Stable, long-term opportunity with a reputable business

The Role

You'll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance are maintained at all times.

The role primarily involves day work, with shifts operating Sunday to Friday. Start and finish times may vary slightly from week to week depending on business needs.

On occasion, you may be asked to provide cover for holidays or sickness absence, which could include a run to Scotland. Any overnight stay required for this route will be paid separately.

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
• Flexible attitude to support operational requirements when needed
