Reed Further Education are currently recruiting for an experienced EEA Assessor on behalf of a leading Further Education provider.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to support learners by assessing and identifying appropriate exam access arrangements, helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role

As an EEA Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments for learners with additional learning needs and recommending suitable exam access arrangements in line with current JCQ regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Exam Access Arrangement (EAA) assessments for learners with additional needs.
• Complete accurate assessment reports and maintain detailed records.
• Manage a caseload of students, setting targets and support plans to overcome barriers to learning.
• Work closely with learning support, SEND and curriculum teams.
• Ensure compliance with current regulations and best practice guidance.
• Support learners to achieve positive educational outcomes.

Essential Requirements

• Level 7 Postgraduate Qualification in Assessing for Access Arrangements.
• Current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC).
• Degree qualified with a relevant professional qualification.
• Experience completing Exam Access Arrangement assessments for learners with additional needs.
• Experience working within an education setting.
• Experience managing a caseload of young people and implementing support strategies to improve achievement.
