My client is an established financial services technology business based in Leicester. After significant growth over the past year, they are looking to appoint an organised and detail-focused Paraplanner to support their technical operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing financial information, resolving complex queries and working collaboratively. You will use your paraplanning experience to support accurate, efficient processes within a business combining financial services expertise with technology. The role As Paraplanner, you will review financial information, identify important policy details and provide technical support to colleagues across the business. Reviewing and analysing information received from financial providers Identifying policy features, charges, benefits and potential restrictions Highlighting guarantees, safeguarded benefits and other details requiring further investigation Preparing clear, accurate summaries of complex financial information Liaising with providers and internal colleagues to resolve technical queries Obtaining missing information and checking documentation for accuracy and completeness Supporting the review of transfer and consolidation cases Maintaining accurate records across internal systems Managing your workload to meet agreed deadlines and service standards The candidate We are looking for someone with previous paraplanning experience, strong technical knowledge and a thorough approach. You will be comfortable interpreting detailed information, managing competing priorities and communicating clearly with others. Previous experience in a paraplanning role A relevant Level 4 financial planning or paraplanning qualification, or working towards one Strong knowledge of pensions and retirement products Experience interpreting provider information and policy documentation An understanding of charges, guarantees, safeguarded benefits and transfer considerations Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Strong organisational skills and consistent follow-through A proactive, reliable approach and an interest in financial technology In return £40,000 – £45,000 per annum Hybrid working with a modern Leicester office The opportunity to apply your paraplanning expertise within a technology-led business Exposure to digital systems and financial services processes The chance to contribute ideas and help improve day-to-day operations Interested?
