Sales Administrator

Location: Stockport
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: £13.89 per hour
Contract: Temporary Ongoing

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and versatile Sales Administrator to join our team in Stockport. This is a varied role supporting branch operations across the office, customer service counter, and warehouse. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, processing orders accurately, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Administration Duties

• Manage inbound calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare and process customer quotations.
• Accurately process customer orders and update records.
• Track and manage Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
• Complete a range of administrative tasks using SAP.
• Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient branch operations.

Customer Service Duties

• Manage Click & Collect orders, ensuring they are prepared and ready on time.
• Serve customers at the trade counter, providing excellent customer service and product support.
• Build positive relationships with customers and assist with queries.
• Maintain a professional, clean, and organised customer-facing area.

Warehouse Support Duties

• Assist with picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Support stock control activities and inventory checks.
• Follow all health and safety procedures within the warehouse environment.
• Assist with general warehouse activities as required.

Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience in administration, sales support, or customer service.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confident using IT systems and data entry software.
• Experience using SAP is advantageous but not essential.
• Flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the branch.
