Reeson Education are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and proactive individual who is confident supporting in Key Stage 2 (KS2), helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across Key Stage 2. You will assist with lesson delivery, provide individual and small-group support, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment where individuals can achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities, lesson preparation, and the delivery of engaging learning experiences.
• Key Stage 2 Support: Provide support to individuals in KS2, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential skills.
• Individual & Group Support: Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group support to reinforce learning and address individual needs.
• Behaviour Management: Encourage positive behaviour, maintain classroom expectations, and promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Learning & Progress Monitoring: Monitor engagement and progress, providing feedback to the class teacher where appropriate.
• Additional Learning Needs: Adapt support and learning resources to accommodate with different abilities and learning requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure children receive consistent and effective assistance.

To succeed as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school.
• Experience supporting across Key Stage 2.
• A good understanding of the primary school curriculum and classroom support strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning and development.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider school team.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
