I’m currently working with a leading consultancy that is looking to add to its Building Regulations / Principal Designer team. They’re open on level and, importantly, are more interested in attitude and potential than ticking every box. This could suit someone from a Building Surveying background who is looking to specialise in Building Regulations and compliance, whether you're currently: * A Trainee or Assistant Building Surveyor * A Building Surveyor looking for a new direction * Already working in Building Regulations / Principal Designer services * From a wider construction or technical background You’ll support on Building Regulations compliance, design reviews, site inspections, project information and Building Safety Act requirements, with the opportunity to develop into a fully-fledged Principal Designer role. What they’re looking for They’re keen to speak with someone who is: * Interested in buildings, construction and compliance * Proactive and keen to learn * A good communicator * Detail-oriented and organised * Ambitious and keen to progress Previous Principal Designer experience isn’t essential. The right attitude, building knowledge and willingness to develop are far more important.
