TL Recruitment Solutions are proud to be recruiting on behalf of an established and growing Children's Residential Care provider seeking an experienced Residential Deputy Manager to join one of their specialist homes supporting children and young people with EBD and SEMH needs.

This Residential Deputy Manager opportunity is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager or a Senior Residential Support Practitioner looking to take the next step in their career within Children's Residential Care.

As a Residential Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home operates to the highest standards, delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
• Lead, motivate and develop the residential team.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
• Assist with staff supervisions, training and performance management.
• Support the home's compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies.
• Promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Build effective relationships with families, social workers and external professionals.
• Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience within Children's Residential Care.
• Experience supporting children and young people with EBD and/or SEMH needs.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
• Level 5 qualification or willingness to work towards one is desirable.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and Children's Residential Care regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
