Job Description: Machine Operator Location: Wolverhampton Pay Rate: £15.25 per hour Shift Pattern: Friday – Sunday | 6:00am – 6:00pm Hours Paid: 36 hours per week Contract: 12-Week Temp-to-Perm Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton. Key Responsibilities * Operating machinery, including punch presses, bending tools and manual equipment * Cutting materials to size using saws * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Completing measurements and basic calculations accurately * Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch * Supporting general warehouse and labouring duties * Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting where required Requirements * Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings * Good attention to detail and strong practical skills * Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team * Comfortable working in a physically demanding role * FLT licence or experience would be a bonus but is not essential What's on Offer * Excellent weekend shift pattern, working Friday to Sunday * Competitive pay rate of £15.25 per hour * Consistent 36-hour working week * 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity * Long-term career prospects with potential for pay progression If you have previous machine operating experience and are looking for a new opportunity within a manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you
