We are seeking a committed and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil at a welcoming mainstream primary school in the Wirral. What We Offer • Full-time role, Monday to Friday during school hours • Competitive daily rate starting from £95 • Support from dedicated recruitment consultants throughout your employment journey • A fast-track clearance process to help you start promptly • A supportive, inclusive and friendly school environment Key Responsibilities • Provide tailored one-to-one support for a specific pupil in a mainstream primary school setting • Support the pupil’s personal, social and emotional development • Monitor and record the pupil’s progress, behaviour and engagement • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external agencies to deliver the pupil’s individual education plan (IEP) • Promote positive behaviour while building the pupil’s confidence and independence What We’re Looking For • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one • Recent childcare or school-based experience gained within the past two years • Two references confirming your experience of working with children • A nurturing, patient and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning • Experience providing one-to-one support for children with complex or additional needs is desirable but not essential If you are ready to make a meaningful difference to a child’s education and development, we would love to hear from you.
