Ideally, you’ll have previously worked as a Sub Agent, Site Agent, Project Manager, Site Manager or similar, before moving into planning. What we’re looking for: * Strong civil engineering / infrastructure background * Previous hands-on site delivery experience is essential * Background as a Sub Agent, Site Agent, PM, Site Manager or similar * Now operating at Senior Planner / Senior Planning Engineer level * Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing * Able to produce realistic, buildable programmes * Comfortable working with operational, engineering and commercial teams * Experience across highways, structures, heavy civils or major infrastructure would be ideal * Strong understanding of planning software and programme management Candidates without a genuine site-based construction background will not be considered. This is a permanent position with a national civils contractor offering a strong pipeline of infrastructure work and the opportunity to get involved across projects from pre-construction through to delivery.
