About the Role

We are working with an established, growing technology business that is looking to recruit a talented Content Manager to join its expanding marketing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced B2B content marketer who loves writing, enjoys uncovering interesting stories and can turn complex technical subjects into engaging content that resonates with customers and prospects.

You will play a key role in developing and delivering content across multiple channels, helping to generate new business opportunities, engage existing customers and strengthen the company's reputation as a trusted industry expert.

Working closely with colleagues across marketing and the wider business, you will have the opportunity to develop new ideas, interview customers and industry specialists, and explore how AI and emerging marketing technologies can improve content creation and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging thought leadership articles, blogs, video scripts and downloadable resources.
• Write and update website content and landing pages in collaboration with the website and design team.
• Develop email, event and social media content to support marketing campaigns.
• Work with SEO specialists to improve content visibility, search performance and discoverability.
• Interview colleagues, customers and business partners to uncover stories and develop relevant content.
• Manage an AI-focused video content series, coordinating topics and content production.
• Develop customer success stories and support the creation of video case studies.
• Generate fresh content ideas to engage target audiences and support wider marketing objectives.
• Repurpose existing content into different formats to maximise its reach and impact.
• Explore opportunities to use AI to improve content creation, workflows and marketing efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with campaign managers and other marketing colleagues to ensure content supports wider business objectives.

About You

You will be a creative, curious and commercially aware content marketer who enjoys getting to the heart of a subject and communicating it clearly.

You will be confident interviewing people, researching unfamiliar topics and transforming technical information into accessible, compelling content. You should enjoy working collaboratively, contributing ideas and managing several content projects simultaneously.

We are particularly interested in someone who combines excellent writing skills with a practical understanding of B2B marketing and a genuine interest in how technology and AI are changing the way businesses communicate.

Essential Experience

• At least five years' experience in a B2B content marketing role.
• Experience creating content for technology, software, professional services, manufacturing, distribution or a related B2B environment.
• Experience with SEO and content optimisation.
• Experience managing website content and using content management systems.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to translate technical or complex subjects into clear, engaging content for different audiences.
• Confidence interviewing stakeholders and gathering information to develop compelling stories.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different teams.

Desirable Skills and Interests

• An interest in AI, automation and emerging marketing technologies.
• Experience producing video scripts, customer case studies and thought leadership content.
• Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across email, social media, websites and events.
• An interest in exploring new ways to create, distribute and optimise content.
