Our client, a well-established, leading building contractor, have an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager to join their growing business. With offices based in Verwood, they provide accredited building services to clients throughout the corporate, commercial and public sectors.

We are looking for a Site Manager to start with immediate effect.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Inspecting sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Supervising and instructing the team as well as subcontractors.
• Educating site workers on safety regulations and accident protocol.
• Enforcing site safety rules to minimise work-related accidents and injuries.
• Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
• Ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.

Site Manager Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a site supervisor / manager.
• Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Diplomatic
• Time management and prioritising skills
• Adaptable
• Client focused
• Good working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in the construction industry
• Good overall knowledge of the building industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Full driving licence with the ability to drive a company vehicle
• This role is based in Dorset and surrounding areas so we require you to be in a commutable distance of the locations
• DBS check is required for this role
