Motor Trade Service Advisor Location: Bramley area Salary: £35,000–£37,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm (8:00am–5:00pm during training) Holidays: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays An exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor! We’re working on behalf of an independent garage in the Bramley area that is looking to recruit a knowledgeable, organised and customer-focused Service Advisor to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the motor trade, has a good eye for detail and enjoys a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, parts sourcing and service administration. The Role Working within a busy independent garage, your responsibilities will include: * Welcoming customers and dealing with enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email. * Ordering and sourcing vehicle parts through dealerships, TPS and other suppliers. * Raising invoices and handling general service administration. * Following up with customers to ensure a smooth and professional experience. * Liaising with suppliers and the workshop to help keep day-to-day operations running efficiently. * Providing a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service to customers. About You We're keen to hear from candidates who have: * Previous experience in a parts, service advisor or similar motor trade role. * Good knowledge of vehicle parts and the ability to identify and source the correct components. * Experience using dealerships, TPS and other parts suppliers. * Alternatively, a strong mechanical background with a good understanding of vehicle components. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * A well-organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently. Previous experience working in a parts department would be particularly advantageous, although candidates with relevant mechanical knowledge will also be considered.
