Dispatch / Goods Out / Packing Operative

• Salary: £30,000 - £31,500 per annum
• Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Dispatch / Goods Out / Packing Operative to join a successful and growing organisation. The role is ideal for an individual with previous warehouse, dispatch or packing experience who enjoys a practical, fast-paced working environment. You will be responsible for preparing products for dispatch, carrying out quality checks and supporting the efficient running of the goods-out function, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare bespoke customer orders for dispatch.
• Conduct final quality and quantity checks to ensure products meet specifications before leaving the site.
• Organise and prepare shipments, including courier collections.
• Load and unload deliveries as required.
• Ensure that packaging meets company standards and that products are well-protected during transit.
• Manage and process shipping labels and delivery documentation.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and participate in regular stock checks.
• Keep work areas tidy and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure orders are completed within agreed timelines.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in Dispatch, Goods Out, Warehouse, or Packing roles.
• Comfortable in a physically demanding role and able to remain on your feet throughout the day.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors before dispatch.
• Ability to adhere to processes and work accurately under pressure.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Positive attitude and a team player.
