We are excited to be supporting one of our most successful and growing clients in recruiting a newly created role of Regional Financial Controller.

The strategy of the organisation is one of growth and in order to ensure both financial and operational performance at the highest level they have created a structure where the business is divided into 4 regions and we are looking for an exceptional individual for the London, South and Thames Valley region.

The role requires the support of a number of locations across London, the South and Thames Valley and therefore you must be comfortable travelling to various locations on a very regular basis, whilst also being responsible directly for one location.

Key responsibilities for one dedicated location:

Provide leadership on all financial matters to ensure successful financial performance.

Be responsible for financial and management reporting including budgets, forecasts and year end reporting.

Support the leadership team in driving business performance and EBIT growth in particular partnering the business leader.

Work closely with central finance on projects.

Ensure processes and procedures are at the level needed to mitigate risk.

Lead and manage a small team within finance.

Key responsibilities for the region:

Act as an advisor on all finance matters, ensuring accurate and timely reporting by regional finance teams.

Work with regional business leaders and other regional operational executives to ensure best performance.

Work with central finance acting as a conduit to regional teams to ensure all requests for information are delivered.

This exciting role requires a qualified accountant with proven people management skills who is a strong team player and who is prepared to "roll their sleeves up" when necessary.

You will be an excellent communicator who can work with both finance and non-finance operational colleagues with financial management and planning.

You will have had significant exposure to the production of monthly management accounts as well as year-end financial statements.

You will be excited to support both finance and operational teams across the region as well as leading on all financial matters at your main location.
