Salary: £42ph MAXIMUM

• Join a high street firm in Devon to assist covering a sickness absence on a long term locum basis.
• Requirement is for an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Lawyer to join the firm to assist with a variety of high street private client work.
• Some on site working essential given paperbased nature of the files (although ad hoc collection/return ok, with the rest remote).
• Starting ASAP for initial few weeks, with likely extension / full time or min 3 days per week.

Position Overview

Our client, a high street law firm in Plymouth, is looking for an experienced Private Client Locum Solicitor/Lawyer to join their team, to cover a sickness absence. It is unknown as yet how long the requirement may be for, but is urgent to start ASAP. As a Private Client Locum, you will carry out a mixed caseload of Wills, Probate, LPAs and general elderly client advice. Ideally a couple of days on site per week would be helpful, but if essential an initial collect and return of files every few weeks/month could work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a private client caseload.
• Work autonomously and flexibly.
• Provide excellent legal advice to clients with a great eye for detail.

Requirements

• 4+ years' experience in private client law.
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent fee earning experience.
• Strong communication and client care skills.
