Employment Solicitor (3-6 years)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced employment solicitor to join a highly regarded national law firm in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE to join an ambitious and collaborative employment law team advising a diverse range of employers on complex, commercially significant matters.

The Role

You will advise employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including:

• Employment Tribunal litigation, discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
• Disciplinary, grievance and employee relations matters.
• Employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Restructuring, redundancies and strategic workforce projects.
• Employment law support on corporate, real estate and insolvency transactions.
• Day-to-day employment law advice and wider workforce issues.

You will manage your own caseload, build trusted client relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across Scotland and the wider UK. There will also be opportunities to contribute to business development and support the continued growth of the employment practice.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 3 years’ PQE in employment law
• Experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Strong technical knowledge and a commercially focused approach
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• The ability to manage matters independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• An interest in business development and developing long-term client relationships
