Warehouse Operative Wetherby (LS22) | Permanent Monday – Friday | 8.30am – 5.30pm Access to own vehicle required due to the location of the site ST TALENT are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established business based in Wetherby. This is a hands-on warehouse role within a busy and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing and dispatching orders, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping busy, takes pride in their work and can work efficiently whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities * Picking customer orders using handheld scanner devices * Packing and dispatching products using warehouse software systems * Processing goods-in deliveries and stock put-aways * Repacking products into branded packaging for retail displays * Accurate labelling of products and shipments * Stock counting and inventory checks * Maintaining warehouse organisation, cleanliness and safety standards * Supporting general warehouse operations as required About You * Previous warehouse picking and packing experience is essential * Comfortable working to deadlines within a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Positive attitude and good work ethic * Open, honest and reliable approach to work * Able to follow instructions and processes accurately * Numerate and literate with basic IT skills * Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse systems * Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties * Able to remain on your feet throughout the working day * FLT Licence advantageous but not essential * Own transport is essential due to the location of the site What's on Offer? * Permanent full-time position * Monday to Friday working hours * £28,730 (£13.00 per hour) for candidates holding a valid FLT Licence * National Living Wage for candidates without an FLT Licence * Opportunity for salary progression based on performance, development and knowledge gained * On-site parking * Pension scheme * Holiday entitlement * Supportive team environment * Long-term career opportunity This vacancy is being advertised by ST TALENT Ltd, an Employment Agency.
