Senior HR Advisor

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a busy team in a broad generalist role. This Senior HR Advisor position will support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, development, and offboarding.

Day-to-day of the role

• Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, development, and leavers.
• Manage recruitment activity up to management level and liaise with external agencies where needed.
• Advise managers on employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, and capability issues.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, employment law, and best practice.
• Support performance management processes and help drive consistency across the business.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and business needs.
• Produce HR reports and track key data such as absence, retention, and talent development.
• Support HR administration, including benefits, pensions, payroll data, and employee records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting managers with employee relations matters.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills.
• Able to manage priorities, work to deadlines, and stay calm under pressure.
