Conveyancing Legal Assistant

Location: Lutterworth, with parking onsite

This highly regarded, CQS-accredited law firm has been established for over 30 years and has offices in Warwickshire and Leicestershire. They currently employ around 30 staff and have active growth plans in place for future expansion.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting a Conveyancing fee earner with all aspects of the residential conveyancing process from file opening to completion
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third party professionals
• Assisting with preparation of matters for exchange and completion
  Assisting Conveyancer with freehold and leasehold transactions, transfers of equity, remortgages and other residential property matters
• Preparing correspondence, reports and relevant conveyancing documentation

Who we're looking for:

Suitable candidates are likely to have:

• 12 months'+ up to date experience of supporting a conveyancing team
• Excellent communication skills
• A sound understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
• Experience of using the Land Registry portal
• The ability and desire to work well as part of a team
• Good longevity of employment in previous roles

What's on offer:

This is a permanent job, working 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Flexible and/or reduced hours will also be considered
