As Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finical operations, working as the sole member of staff with expertise in Xero, making this an essential requirement for the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process and maintain financial records using Xero
• Upload and record incoming income and expenditure transactions
• Process Purchase and Sales Ledger invoices
• Raise invoices and monitor outstanding payments
• Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions
• Carry out regular bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with budget monitoring and financial reporting
• Prepare financial information for management and trustees as required
• Support month-end financial processes
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors when required
• Ensure all financial activities comply with charity and finance regulation
