They are looking for an experienced and reliable Commercial Tyre Technician to join their team at their Washington depot. This is an opportunity for a skilled Commercial Tyre Technician to work alongside an experienced team, servicing customer vehicles and delivering high-quality tyre maintenance services across the local area. Objectives As an important member of the team, the Commercial Tyre Technician will be responsible for fitting, maintaining and repairing tyres on a range of customer vehicles, including cars, vans and commercial vehicles. You will help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to industry standards, while providing a reliable service to customers. Key Responsibilities As a Commercial Tyre Technician, your duties include: * Fitting and removing tyres on light and heavy vehicles * Carrying out tyre repairs in line with industry standards * Completing scheduled tyre servicing and maintenance * Performing tyre regrooving and other aspects of tyre husbandry * Ensuring tyre work is completed safely and accurately * Supporting the team in servicing customer vehicles across the local area * Managing competing priorities to ensure work is completed efficiently * Following health and safety procedures at all times * Maintaining high standards of customer service and workmanship Requirements - What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: * At least one year's experience in tyre fitting, including car, van and commercial tyres * A valid driving licence * The right to work in the UK * A conscientious, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work * The ability to work effectively as part of a team * Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities * A commitment to working safely and maintaining high industry standards Full training will be provided to develop your skills in line with industry standards.
