Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

• Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm)

We are expanding our team and looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong electronics bias to handle hands-on repairs and fault-finding tasks, primarily on vacuum machinery and related electronics.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Diagnose and repair circuit boards and PCBs using your strong electrical and electronics knowledge.
• Utilise electrical drawings and schematics for effective fault-finding.
• Engage in hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks, focusing on vacuum machinery rather than commercial building maintenance.
• Work within a team of experienced engineers, contributing to the maintenance of high standards and efficient operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven background as an Electrical biased Maintenance Engineer with significant electronics experience.
• Qualified to ONC/HNC level in Electronic/Electrical Engineering (desired).
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and capable of reading circuit and wiring diagrams.
• Strong soldering skills and familiarity with BS7671 and 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience with high voltage systems, RF systems, and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens) highly desired.
• Calibration and high vacuum experience are advantageous.
