Caretaker/Cleaner 📍 Bishop Auckland Area 💷 £13.50 per hour ⏰ 20 hours per week (4 hours per day) 💰 Weekly Pay 📅 Immediate Start Available We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Caretaker/Cleaner to provide cover at a school in the Bishop Auckland area. This is initially a one-week assignment, with the potential to become a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate. Duties Include: Opening and securing the premises Carrying out general caretaking and site maintenance duties Completing basic compliance and health & safety checks Ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and well-maintained Cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors, and communal areas Supporting with additional cleaning duties as required Requirements: Previous caretaking, facilities, site maintenance, or similar experience Experience carrying out basic compliance and health & safety checks Willingness to undertake cleaning duties Full UK driving licence and own transport due to the location of the site Enhanced DBS certificate required Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently Working Hours: Monday to Friday 4 hours per day Start time of either 6:00am or 7:00am Benefits: ✅ £13.50 per hour ✅ Weekly pay ✅ Immediate start available ✅ Potential for ongoing work If you have caretaking experience and are looking for your next opportunity in the Bishop Auckland area, we'd love to hear from you.
