This is a Interim Company Secretary role based in Manchester. You'll be responsible for supporting the C-Suite team in maintaining effective governance and smooth operations.

Description

The Interim Company Secretary will:

• Report to the CEO.
• Provide governance support to the C-Suite team, including managing board meetings and preparing minutes.
• Overhaul the governance framework.
• Maintain and update statutory records, ensuring they are accurate and complete.
• Oversee regulatory filings and ensure deadlines are met.
• Act as a key point of contact for regulators and other external stakeholders.
• Advise on corporate governance best practices and implement necessary changes.
• Support the preparation and submission of reports to regulatory bodies.
• Handle any ad hoc tasks related to company secretarial duties.

Profile

A successful Interim Company Secretary should have:

• Experience leading a co-sec function.
• Ideally have knowledge of FCA and PRA regulations.
• Experience managing governance processes and supporting senior leadership teams.
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Proficiency in handling statutory filings and maintaining company records.
• Confidence in liaising with regulators and external stakeholders.
• Ability to provide practical advice on corporate governance matters.
