Repairs Planner – Full Time – Widnes

Our client, a leading social housing association is looking for an experienced administrator/ repairs planner to support their in-house maintenance team. This role will support external contractors and the scheduling team to ensure homes are maintained effectively and safely.

What’s on offer?

• Rate of pay: £12.71 - 6 months
• Contract type: Temp
• Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Support with the administration of repairs complaints, ensuring complaints are responded to effectively
• Undertake contract administration functions in the management of the repairs & maintenance service, insurance, re charges, right to buy and disrepair claims
• Liaise with third party contractors, suppliers and stakeholders, inclusive of Local Authorities, solicitors and insurance representatives in the delivery of the repairs service
• Provide triage support to all internal departments for the delivery of accurate and timely repair defect diagnostics, and adherence to the repairs & maintenance policies, procedures and systems

About you

• Experience working within a responsive repairs/ planned repairs background
• Experience of working within social housing
• Having a solution-focused, proactive personality
