Account Manager An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious accountant to join a growing accountancy practice as an Account Manager. This role would suit someone with a solid grounding in management accounting who is looking to develop their career, take on greater responsibility and build strong client relationships. The Role You will support a portfolio of clients, working closely with senior accountants and the wider team. Responsibilities include: Acting as a point of contact for a portfolio of clients Reviewing client bookkeeping and resolving issues Preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations Supporting period-end processes and meeting agreed deadlines Analysing financial performance and providing commentary and insights Developing your involvement in client advisory and commercial discussions Maintaining accurate client records and working collaboratively with the wider team About You The ideal candidate will have experience in management accounting and be keen to progress their career within a client-focused environment. You will likely have: 1–3 years’ experience in management accounting or a similar role Studying towards or qualified in ACCA Good Excel skills A strong understanding of management accounts Excellent communication and organisational skills Experience working with clients or stakeholders is desirable Knowledge of Xero is desirable but not essential A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and progress Next steps: If this sounds like a great opportunity please email or call (phone number removed).
