The Opportunity

Our client, a highly regarded Legal 500 and Chambers-listed law firm, is looking to recruit a Senior Private Client Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its established team in Reading.

This is an excellent opportunity to handle a high-quality caseload within a supportive department, with genuine scope to take on greater responsibility and progress towards a future leadership role.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of Private Client matters, including:

• Wills, LPAs and estate planning
• Probate and complex estate administration
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Trust creation and administration
• Elderly client matters and Court of Protection
• Trust and estate disputes

You will also lead client relationships and contribute to the continued development of the department.

About You

• 5+ years' PQE in Private Client law
• Strong technical experience across Wills, probate, trusts and estate planning
• Experience handling complex estates and inheritance tax matters
• Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills
• STEP qualified or working towards STEP would be advantageous
