About the Opportunity
An established international manufacturer of high-quality industrial component hardware is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to develop existing accounts and identify new business opportunities across the UK.
This role is ideal for an experienced technical sales professional who enjoys building relationships with engineering, manufacturing and procurement teams within OEM, industrial, transport and specialist machinery environments.
You'll be joining a highly respected business known for product quality, technical expertise and long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across industrial and engineering sectors
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Identify opportunities with OEMs, manufacturers, machinery builders and engineering organisations
- Build relationships with engineers, procurement teams, project managers and key decision-makers
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to order placement
- Work closely with internal technical and customer support teams
- Attend customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events
- Deliver sales growth against agreed targets
