Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of a client, an established care provider, who are looking for a Registered Manager for a small residential home that supports adults who have learning disabilities.
The Role:
As the CQC Registrered Manager you will be accountable for for everything that happens that happens in the home, including:

* Act as safeguarding lead, and apply the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS confidently and correctly.
* Keep the service inspection-ready every day — audits, observations of practice, incident analysis, statutory notifications and an improvement plan that actually gets worked through.
* Oversee the activity programme and safe, enjoyable use of the hydrotherapy pool.
* Be the home’s point of contact for Hertfordshire County Council, social workers, health professionals, families and advocates.
* Take responsibility for medicines management, health and safety, fire safety, infection control and the premises.
* Manage the home’s delegated budget and staffing spend.

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or a recognised equivalent.
* At least two years in a Registered Manager, deputy manager or equivalent senior management role in adult social care.
* Direct experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, including people with complex health needs and limited verbal communication.
* A track record of achieving and sustaining CQC compliance, including having been through inspection.
* Confident working knowledge of the 2014 Regulations, CQC’s assessment framework, Right support right care right culture, the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS.
* Writing strong enough that your support plans, investigations and audits stand up to external scrutiny.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* The existing right to work in the UK — we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this post
