Cover Supervisor - Stockport FULL TIME | IMMEDIATE START | LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY Prospero Teaching are working with a mainstream secondary school in Stockport seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 while maintaining a positive learning environment. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location: Stockport Position: Cover Supervisor Type of Work: Classroom supervision and lesson delivery Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP110 - GBP140 per day (depending on experience) Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm THE ROLE Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Ensure students remain engaged and on task. Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons. Support students with their learning where required. Promote a safe and positive learning environment. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS · Previous experience working with young people is desirable. Experience within education, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or care settings is advantageous. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. Confident working with secondary-aged students. Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable). TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: · Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application. Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
