The Role as a Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant

• Supporting pupils within Welsh-medium primary school classrooms.

• Assisting teachers with daily lessons, activities and learning objectives.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required.

• Communicating confidently with pupils and staff in Welsh.

• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

• Helping maintain a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

• Adapting to different year groups and school settings.

We're Looking For

• Fluency in Welsh is essential.

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting.

• Experience supporting primary-aged children.

• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.

• Confidence communicating in Welsh with pupils and school staff.

• A genuine passion for supporting children's education.
