Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, healthcare and public-sector assets, this organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality surveying and project services throughout the Midlands.

Your new role

As a Building Surveyor, you will be involved in a varied workload across professional and project-based surveying services, including:

• Conducting building surveys and defect diagnosis
• Preparing schedules of condition and dilapidation reports
• Planned preventative maintenance programmes
• Contract administration and project delivery
• Producing specifications, tender documentation and reports
• Providing technical advice to a broad range of clients
• Supporting refurbishment and improvement projects from inception through to completion

This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor looking to develop their technical expertise while gaining exposure to a wide range of property types and clients.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• Experience within a Building Surveyor role, either consultancy or client side
• Good knowledge of building pathology and construction principles
• Strong report-writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ambition to develop professionally, with support available towards chartership if required
