The Role

As Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of businesses and acting as their trusted advisor, ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Acting as the main point of contact for client queries and business advice
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and add value to clients
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing mentorship
• Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance requirements are met
• Assisting Directors and Partners with portfolio development and practice growth

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
• ACA or ACCA qualification, or be qualified by experience
• Experience managing a client portfolio
• Strong knowledge of accounts, tax and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify client opportunities
