REED FE are recruiting for Maths Lecturer opportunities within a college setting in Surrey. These roles will focus on delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to learners across planned weekly timetables.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Lecturer who can deliver engaging lessons, support learner progress, and work effectively within a further education environment.

Day-to-day of the role of a Maths Lecturer

• Deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths lessons to learners in line with the planned timetable.
• Prepare and deliver engaging sessions that support different learning needs and abilities.
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to help students achieve their targets.
• Maintain accurate attendance, progress, and assessment records as required.
• Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with curriculum staff to ensure high-quality delivery.

Timetable options: Part time ( 2 days) or Full time ( 5 days )

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths within further education, secondary education, or a similar learning environment
• Ability to teach GCSE and Functional Skills Maths confidently and effectively.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A relevant teaching qualification or subject qualification would be advantageous.
• Ability to plan lessons, assess learner progress, and adapt teaching methods where needed.
• A professional, reliable, and learner-focused approach.
